About DraftScreens

An AI mobile app designer, built by Kishan Sheth.

DraftScreens is an AI mobile app designer. You describe an app in a sentence or two and get connected phone screens in one consistent design language, with real content. You can edit any element, tap through the screens as a prototype on your own phone, and export them to Figma or hand them to an AI coding tool.

It is a web app at draftscreens.com. There is nothing to install.

Who makes it

DraftScreens is built by Kishan Sheth, its founder. Mail to kishan@zune.one goes to him.

Why it exists

Most AI tools that make an app invent the design while they write the code, and the app comes out looking like every other generated app. Getting a real design usually means days in Figma first.

DraftScreens covers the step in between: from "I have an app idea" to "someone is building it". The output is a design you can look at, change, show to people and hand to whoever builds the app, whether that is a developer or a coding agent such as Cursor or Claude Code. The aim is in the headline on the home page: mobile apps that don't look AI-made.

How it works

  • Draft: one prompt gives a connected flow of screens. Before the first screen is drawn, a planner settles the palette, the type, the corner radius and the spacing, and every screen is held to them.
  • Refine: click any element and change its text, colour or spacing by hand, which costs nothing. Or tell the chat what to change, and only that screen is revised.
  • Ship: paste editable layers into Figma, or take a prompt pack to your coding tool.

It only designs mobile screens. That limit is on purpose: every screen is phone sized, with a status bar, safe areas and a tab bar where one belongs.

You can also start from a template, try the free tools, or compare it with other tools on the alternatives pages.

What it costs

There is a free plan (1 design a day, up to 5 a month), and paid plans (Pro and Studio) for more designs, every export and design systems. A generation that fails is never charged. See pricing for the current plans.
